Hawick Junior Badminton Club


 

Hawick Junior Badminton Club offers younger players aged 6-18 the opportunity to attend structured coaching sessions. The first hour of each coaching session includes warming up and stretching exercises, on court exercises/routines and stroke practice. The second hour of each session is used to play the game. The club runs weekly from the start of September to the end of April.

Venue: Hawick High School Games Hall, TD9 0EG.

Wilton Badminton Club

  
 

Anyone interested in playing badminton will be made welcome by club members. The club has players of all standards, from the complete beginner to the more experienced veterans. The badminton season commences at the start of September, continues through the winter months and concludes at the end of April.

Jedburgh Badminton Club

  

 

Based in the Scottish Borders, Jedburgh Badminton Club (JBC) caters for all ages and abilities, beginners through to Border League level, young and old from the age of 6 to 60. Junior sessions currently take place on  Tuesday's and  Wednesday's with the senior club running from 7.00pm to 10.00pm on Wednesday evening -  immediately following the junior session. Border League matches tend to be the third Sunday in each month. The club runs weekly from September to the end of March. Visitor's most welcome.

St Boswells Badminton Club

  

 

The club provide a social atmosphere to play badminton. All ages are catered for and the club organise their own competitions and also play matches with other clubs. Junior members participate in Borders competitions.

Abbotsford Badminton Club

  

 

The philosophy of the club is enjoyable exercise.  Games can be competitive but we are not involved in any inter-club competitions.  Standards are variable but some experience and knowledge are preferred.
 

Venue: Galashiels Academy Sports Hall, Elm Road, Galashiels.
Facilities: 3 court high ceilinged hall, changing rooms and parking.

Club nights: The club meets from 20:00 to 21:30 on Mondays during the autumn and spring terms of the school (late August to end of March).
