clubgolf

The clubgolf programme was launched in 2003 to fulfil the Scottish Government’s promise to provide every child in Scotland with an opportunity to experience golf, part of Scotland’s commitment to the game which formed part of the successful bid to host the 2014 Ryder Cup.

The introductory game firstclubgolf is now well established across the country, and provides children with an opportunity to experience golf in Primary School. firstclubgolf is a six-week programme designed to give children aged nine a first introduction to golf in primary school. firstclubgolf is delivered to P5 children in curriculum time by class teachers or as an after school club by a suitably trained and disclosed volunteer.
