Active Schools Duns

Active Duns

Primary Coordinator
Magnus Moncrieff

Secondary Coordinator
Marianne O'Brien

Magnus covers those schools attached to
Berwickshire High School – Chirnside PSColdstream PS, Duns PSEccles/Leitholm PS, Greenlaw PS, and Swinton PS. Working full-time, Magnus also aims to create further links with any clubs or groups in the area who are looking to link with schools to increase the activity levels of children.

Marianne is hoping to create many more new opportunities for Duns secondary pupils to be physically active, using the fantastic new facilities and equipment at the newly built Berwickshire High School.  She is looking to ensure sustainability of extra-curricular clubs by building on their volunteer base, as well as targeting "hard to reach" such as inactive children and adolescent girls.
