The swimmers selected were Lucy Hope (Jedburgh Grammar School) and Morgan Anderson (Kelso High School). Both are members of Kelso ASC and Swim Team Borders.

Hope also contested the 12-14 years 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke and 200m backstroke events.

Anderson swam extremely well and came home with 2 silver medals. He placed second in the boys 12-14 years 100m breaststroke in a time of 1.13.78 and represented the Scottish boys 12-14 years 4x100m medley relay team which also placed second.

Both swimmers will be in action again for the Borders at the Scottish National Age Group Championships in Glasgow from the 7th to 10th of April.
