The main aim of Sport Borders is to improve standards in sport throughout the Scottish Borders by encouraging and supporting the development and the exchange of information.

Sport Borders is driven by varies sport personnel from around the Scottish Borders. The directors are elected by board members on an annual basis, currently directors and members are as follows:
