The Under-13s event took place at Clackmannan County CC, Grange CC, Penicuik CC, St Boswells CC and then two matches to round off the tournament at Stirling County’s show case New Williamfield ground. With only one game being lost to the weather an excellent three days was had by all teams.
It would be unfair to single out individuals as there were so many bright performances from teams as well as individuals, but three Pentland players, Chris Cash, William Brown and Simon Whait deserve mentions for the part each of them played in a most remarkable game of cricket that saw Pentland emerge champions with three wins from their 3 games on the final day but also because of their consistent performances during the week.
